With the economy & Obama/wife’s view that XMas gifts for their kids is a bad practice, will XMas sales drop?


It is already expected for Christmas sales to be down due to the economy, but with the popularity of Obama and his wife, will their view of not giving Christmas (and birthday) gifts, further drive sales down?

How will this affect churches that are heavily reliant on Christmas gift sales for their budgets?

I’m not picking on the Obama, but with their popularity, many will see them as an example to live their lives by. Just how far that will go should be interesting.
