GOLFERS! I NEED YOUR HELP! GIFT?

I found this website…

http://www.personalizationmall.com/Personalized-Golf-Club-Covers-for-Golfers-p9414.prod?sdest=dept&sdestid=1055&storeid=20&categoryid=1055

And I want to get a personalized one for my boyfriend who LOVES to golf…

but, I need to know what number to put at the top??

there are dimensions on the page, which would be the best driver to get a cover for and which one is it?

and…would you enjoy a gift like that?

thanks!
Answerer 1 – thanks for your input…and so everyone else knows, it isn’t going to have lovey dovey stuff on it like “good luck teddybear” or something weird…

it was going to be a funny, kind of inside golfing joke…

Most golfers will want a matching set of club head covers. So, if you’re getting the whole set, you’ll need to look in his golf bag to see what clubs he has. You’re looking at the clubs with the big heads on them, and he’ll probably have a 1, 3, and 5 if he’s an average golfer.

To be honest, I don’t know how crazy I’d be about a personalized golf club cover. It’s the kind of thing other golfers would poke fun at, especially if it mentioned you and your feelings for him (golf time is typically “guy” time and something like that would have fun poked at it). Also, generic covers can fit clubs very differently, or not at all depending on the club. Since it would be personalized it would be impossible to return. Besides…guys love picking out their own accessories.

That being said, golf apparel can be a very cool gift. Golf shirts and windbreakers can get pricey and are always appreciated. Nike and Under Armour have solid lines, but there are many others as well.

If you want to get him something with a little more sentimental appeal, try a nice ball mark repair tool or ball marker. You may even be able to get it engraved so he’ll see it but his friends won’t make fun of him.

Or, take a look at his towel. If it’s disgusting (we tend to let that happen) see if you can order one from a cool course like Pebble Beach or St. Andrews. Most of the top courses will also sell hats & visors (and tons of other stuff) which might be a cool gift.
