My boyfriend’s birthday is coming up soon and I really want to give him something heartfelt, creative, and special, but I don’t know what to give him. Preferably something homemade. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no money to spend. He’s coming home from college for Thanksgiving break that day so I really want to do something unique and memorable. Our 3 month anniversary is only 2 days before his birthday. I’m planning on cooking for him while he’s home, but for that day/night his Mom already has a party planned and I really don’t want to step in on her territory. Does anyone have any ideas, please? Help!

Do you have a photo of the two of you? If so, print out a copy on regular paper just with black ink. Then, take colored pencils and lightly shade it in – this gives the photo a quaint, old fashioned look. You can get a frame at a .99 Store, and you’re set!
