What should I wear to the Melting Pot?


I wanted to wear a blue flowy tank top with a black cardigan. And i havent gotten these yet but dark, slightly ripped capries from aeropostale. I am getting them there cuz I have a gift card and it is pretty cheap there. Also would flip flops be ok? Cuz the only other thing i have is dirty ripped up converse. and my mom cant afford to buy me new shoes and this is last minute. we’re going friday and I’m going to get the pants on thursday. I dont want to waste money on jeans when it is almost summer. Any suggestions would be great :)
i would get jeans but it will be hot out and there are no good ones for sale right now… :/

Mmm, I would avoid rips when you’re going there. It’s not exactly a 5-Star, dress-to-impress restaurant, but it’s not, say, Burger King either. I would wear nicer pants, not ripped. Dark jeans, for example, look fairly classy while still casual.
Of course, between converse and flip-flops, wear the flip-flops. But make sure they match the rest of the outfit, or spend less on jeans and more on a nicer pair of flip-flops.
Remember, accessories can completely change an outfit, so if the rest of your clothes are too casual, add a little sparkle to spice it up. Maybe silver hoop earrings and bangles, or something similar.
