What is a very original birthday gift for a turning 14 year old girl?


My best friend’s birthday is coming up and I want to get her something original. I don’t want CD, scrap book, video, etc. I was thinking about getting her a fish in a bowl with everything it will need- Gravel, Food, Plants, Decor, etc. But I want to make sure her mom would allow that without giving away her present. How do I go about asking that? I don’t know her mother well so I wouldn’t be able to ask her directly. If you think different, any idea? Please her birthday is in one week and I only have one trip to the store to get this right. UREGENTE`! lol

Well first of all a fish and a bowl is very hard to transport ESPECIALLY for a birthday. Try getting her a scrapbook with a story of how you met and everything that happened between you two and pics. That would be really cool. Maybe burn her a CD with heaps of friendship songs. If you want an original present think about your friendship more. It would also show that you care about her:) good luck
