personalized gifts for the bride
Should I give hand-made gift when not invited to wedding?

My boss (with whom I’ve worked for over 6 years) is getting married. We are not close and do not socialize outside of work. However, the bride told me that I was invited to the wedding. So, being a weaver, I started making a personalized wedding gift. Now I discover I’m not invited. So what to do? Finish the gift and give it to them or not.

Yes. It’s from the heart, and I think you should give it to them anyway. A gift is a gift. Don’t expect anything in return. If I were the bride of your boss, I would be pierced to the heart by your kindness. The bible says, “Your gift will make room for you.” In your boss and his bride’s heart, your gift will keep a door open for a better relationship in the future. If I were the recipient, I’d think you were a really good person to do that.
